Update Tuesday 5/12/15
a. Machine
shop. Learned some new neat lathe functionality, including how to cut screw
threads.
b. Went
to last few minutes of CSE lunch with the chair and mooched off their pizza.
Discussion centered around the new CSE building that will soon rise on the
other side of Stevens Way across from the old one. There were jokes about a
zipline. Met Johan.
c. Returned
to Haggett, did linear hw. Went to McMahon basketball courts and shot around,
which was really nice. Did email, scheduling.
d. Glee
Club!
e. Grabbed
quick dinner at 8. Met Xin, who is at the center of a maelstrom of academic and
other trials, but was super excited that he managed to pull off a 4.0 on the
last physics test. Convinced him that there was no good reason to abandon 2104
yet.
f. Salsa
Club! Actually, we did bachata, which was fun.
g.
Grabbed groceries, returned to Haggett. Ate a
bowl of cereal and read physics. Did physics homework. Wrote this log and hit
the hay.
