- 4/8/16
- Another quick log!
- Up at 5:30 doing math, interesting homework, fun equivalence between infinite products and infinite sums
- Classes
- Lunch reading in the sun
- SPS meeting; no Frank so people just goofed off. But I saw some new faces, got to make introductions, tell people what was so great about the SPS, some freshmen, plus some prospective students here for admitted student weekend.
- Played some frisbee with physicists!
- Shower, went back to the physics complex and worked with Kyle and two others to figure out the demos.
- Put on the demos for incoming SPS students! It was pretty fun. I mostly just stood there smiling and moving tables, but I did get to run one demo.
- When we were nearly done with our lineup this random grad student offered to get his superconducting magnets from his office, and we poured liquid nitrogen on them and levitated other magnets over them. It was pretty boss.
- Talked a bit longer, hung out with another grad student for a bit, then back to Haggett!
- Ate a breakfast burrito, hung out with Xin, who’s reading some crazy quasi-pornographic piece of literature for his Chinese Literature class, and went to bed!
